In 2017, Xequals saw an opportunity to create a tool that would make it easy for voters in New Zealand to compare the policies of political parties during the general election campaign. The resulting Policy tool was a huge success, with tens of thousands of unique users accessing it over the course of the campaign.
In New Zealand's general election campaign of 2017, there was a need for a comprehensive and easy-to-use platform for comparing political party policies. With so many promises and policies to sift through, voters needed a reliable source of information to help them make an informed decision on election day.
Xequals faced the challenge of creating a tool that was not only easy to use, but also comprehensive and up-to-date. With 11 parties to cover and over 350 promises to analyse, the Policy tool needed to be both accurate and user-friendly.
Xequals' Policy tool provided voters with a one-stop-shop for comparing policies of different political parties. The tool was designed to be user-friendly, with clear and concise information that was easy to understand. Users could browse policies by category or party, and quickly find the information they needed to make an informed decision.
The Policy tool was a great success, with over 50,000 unique users accessing it during the campaign period. The tool received positive feedback from users and was widely covered in national media. Xequals' Policy tool was a valuable resource for voters in New Zealand's 2017 general election, and demonstrated the company's ability to create effective and innovative solutions for complex problems.
